Thomas Wolf
Class of 2015

I have watched phases of my life pass me by and I see that their transience amplifies their significance. I cannot hold onto the past or the present, but I can appreciate it and find beauty in the mere fact that everything continues to change and each experience is one I will never repeat or relive. Trying to hold onto something lost will fail, so I must be willing to let things go, while recognizing that this inevitability enhances the poignancy of every day.
