When I was a young kid, mindlessly watching movies without a care, I stumbled upon "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure". This silly 80's film was hilarious, but one scene in particular struck me. At the climax of the movie, Abraham Lincoln declares that the most important thing that he had learned over the night's events was that we should all "Be excellent to each other!" This movie has shaped my life, from a love of rock to my deep interest in history. However, this ideal that we should all just give excellence to one another is a belief I attempt to live by every day of my life.
