Propósito

Andrea Valencia
Class of 2015
Psychology

I chose the word “propósito,” which is the Spanish word for purpose, for my one word because many people ask themselves what their purpose in life is and why they are on this earth. Others have asked me this before and I always ask myself, however I have finally decided my answer, “I don’t know.” I believe this is the perfect answer because every day we learn more about ourselves and it is impossible to wake up one day and realize what out purpose is. I continue to learn about me and take bits and pieces of my life experiences so that one day, at the end of the road, I can come to realize what my purpose was. My purpose is to one day realize what it was by working back and counting how many candles I lit in other people’s lives.
