They say college is a time to discover who you are. I’ve never really thought much about it because it’s so overused and overstated…but it truly is. For a year and a half I studied pre-pharmacy, pushing away what I wanted to do for a secure future and to please my parents. I was scared to pursue my dreams in fear of facing failure because it would suck not being able to do what I love. But then I realized, I’m only setting myself up for disappointment by not taking that chance because whatever happens in another opportunity for me to grow and figure out who I am. My passion is serving and assisting others through planning and organizing. I don’t know where I’m going to be 10 years from now, but with my parents full support and God on my side, I’m excited for what the future holds as I take a leap of faith and pursue my dreams.
